Did someone call you from there? There have been several questions posted here recently asking about this Agency or Company. As far as I could find, they do not have anything to do with any Government Agency. If they call and ask you for personal information, do not give it to them. I’m not sure if they are a scam, a collection agency, or something else, but be very careful. If you have caller ID and still have the number, please post it here. I may be able to give you more info on the company using that.

Question by : What would it take to really implement Fraud, Waste, and Abuse prevention by those in position of authority?
As an overseas Department of Defense employee, I’ve seen a tremendous amount of waste that I know is costing taxpayers and being covered up with creative accounting and intentional deceit. I really hope and pray that this doesn’t include my name because there would be major retaliation. I’ve been working an issue all year that would recoup thousands of dollars owed to the government but am meeting with resistance. Supervisors & Management are comfortable with just considering these debts as noncollectable and writing them off as losses. There’s quite a number of fraudulent financial scenarios that go unmonitored and inaccurately reported ranging from under the table cash awards, salary increases, prearranged employment, to creating positions for “friends”. A serious audit/investigation is really needed in government overseas locations. Those that are depended upon to enforce fair and ethical treatment of employees and maintain fiduciary responsibility to government and taxpayers are the main ones in violation of these practices.

What would it take? A change in human nature. The fox in charge of the hen house is not about to reform his carnivorous habits.

Yes Paypal does need to verify your identity to assure themselves who they are dealing with.
It is in most cases fairly secure and the encryption is there to protect your information.
That being said I will add that no site is completely safe however if you ‘ve ever bought anything online and used a credit card you have probably paid to a site with less secure facilities than paypal.
There simply isn’t a way to insure your information is safe online on every site, but most are relatively secure.
