a couple of applications has my ssn on it, should i have a piece of mind by just getting a fraud alert right now?

My dad decides to take out a personal loan for a car or a home. Then, Instead of buying a car or a home, he buys a small business.
is this at all illegal?

Yes, it is legal.
It would be illegal, however, if your Dad obtained the loan by falsifying is income or other pertinent information.

I was selling my car, and i received a check, afetr all the check was fake, and i got scammed for money. I was wondeirng if you can help me with a hotline phone number for fraud and internet scam. Ot give me advice on hoe to file a complaint of an internet scam.

You can contact your State Attorney Generals office and file a complaint. Also, internet fraud is “wire fraud” and is a Federal offense. You can check out wire fraud on the internet and find some links to filing a complaint. Never ever think a check is real until it has cleared the bank from which it was originated. Your bank can usually tell you if a check is fake too. Good luck.
