how does acorn voter fraud work?

i don’t understand. who votes for these people that dont exist? How will it affect the general election? All I hear is how much of a problem it is but i dont know why its a problem.
so is it possible that one political party would use this against another one to discourage them from voting for the candidate who is supposedly supporting ACORN?

IMSofPA.com (Media, PA)   In this day and age fraud protection with respect to credit cards is a very important issue.  We have all heard the horror stories that go along with a lost or stolen credit card, in addition to having your identity stolen and later find out you have charges to your credit cards which never occurred.

There isn’t a single simple solution or tool that prevents all fraud. It takes an assortment of many tools to mitigate it. The best protection comes from knowledge and understanding of the latest tools and trends impacting the marketplace. Reading through the topics listed below will help you determine what your business could do to reduce your fraud risk. Awareness is the first step towards fighting fraud.

Below is an example of how fraud can occur.  Certain customer behavior could point to card fraud, but it doesn’t necessarily indicate criminal activity. You know your customers, so let your instincts steer you in the right direction.

    Watch out for customers who:

Purchase a large amount of merchandise without regard to size, style, color, or price.
Ask no questions on major purchases.
Try to distract or rush you during the sale.
Make purchases and leave the store, but then return to make more purchases.
Make large purchases just after the store’s opening, or as the store is closing.
Refuse free deliver for large items.

This list is just a small example of how fraud can occur on your account.  There are others to consider, but these are the most obvious.

    Fbi & Financial Fraud

Information released by the FBI in 2007 indicated financial fraud is increasing and has surpassed virus attacks for the first time in many years. In the USA financial fraud is the most costly sector of computer crime. Clearly this has led to a significant shift in the IT security goalposts. Hackers are no longer spotty faced computer geeks fuelled by devilment. Cyberspace is the new playground for all kinds of professional internet fraudsters and organised crime is the playground bully muscling their way past everyone else.

On-line banking, e-commerce transactions and Identity theft are huge growth areas for these sophisticated and technically gifted perpetrators. The UK has witnessed a significant rise in the number of black-market sites trading stolen UK identities and financial details. The newly formed Police Central e-Crime Unit (PCeU) has been described by Microsoft’s chief security advisor as a huge step forward for tackling these types of internet fraudulent crimes in the UK. At the very least UK consumers have somewhere to report their issues to.

A recent security report indicates the UK has witnessed a massive hike of a 20% increase in online financial fraud.

The best advice I can offer is to ensure you minimise the risk of being inadvertently trapped in an online financial scam by ensuring you purchase all your PC security software from a reputable company like www.pconestopshop.com the UK’s largest e-tailer of PC & IT related products.
