Question by Staci L: How do I report fraud on government subsidized housing? I know a person who tells their landlord that they make less money than they do., So they get cheaper rent, at the cost of tax payers. This is fraud, anyone know who to contact? yes i know their circumstances They buy brand new furniture instead of paying off their bills. and the reason I know about it is because they brag about it, and they know its against the law. They do not care, so I decided to take a stand and report them. The court will decide what to do with them, not me. I’m just bringing it to their attention. no, they bought the furniture with a tax refund. they are not working on their credit. Have you got a paycheck lately? Do you see how much taxes are taken out? These housing programs are there for people in need, fraud is fraud, its illegal for a reason.

Question by Kevin: What happens if voter fraud is uncovered after a Presidential election? Have an essay to write for this ethics class, wanted to gather some opinions. Say there is an election for the Presidency and a winner is chosen due to votes, then after they have been swore in someone discovers that voting fraud occurred in a key state which means the Presidency could have in fact gone to the other candidate. Answer by shawna g My boyfriend stole my checks and wrote out 3 and forged my signature. I found this on a webpage and the link is below.
According to the latest American Bankers Association survey, conducted the summer of 2001, showed that check fraud had increased 20% at community banks and 27% at regional banks since the previous survey two years earlier. Check fraud at large banks has doubled in the last two years. Large bank losses are increasing 17% annually. According to the survey banks who participated experienced an estimated 447,342 fraud cases, with an average loss of ,518. The most common source of check fraud was checks written against consumer accounts. The most common type was forgery, followed by NSF and closed accounts. About a quarter to a third of fraud is linked to new accounts.
Brad Friedman, The Brad Blog, joins Thom Hartmann. Who’s screwed? Voters…except in Iowa. Tonight – Republicans are temporarily putting a hold on their war against voters. That’s because Iowa is just one of nine states in the nation that allows for same-day voter registration – meaning people can go to the polls, register to vote, and then immediately vote all at the same time. Studies show that same-day voter registration boosts voter participation by as much as 7%. Also – Iowa will not be checking any voter photo IDs tonight as so many other right-wing states are now demanding. So does that mean – without all ict new voting requirements – the Iowa Causses could be a breeding ground for voter fraud?? Someone sound the alarm! Video Rating: 4 / 5
