Ebay Feedback Extortion Scam Fraud Ring Exposed
It appears that a major problem has been exposed on ebay forums. Note that the thread was pulled by ebay. ID #11-92 The Los Altos Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this video. Detective Scott Bunch reports that on February 11th, 2011, an auto burglary occurred in Los Altos along El Camino Real. The victim reported an that unknown person had burglarized his car and stole his credit cards. Later the suspect in this video allegedly used the victim’s credit card at the Apple Store located at Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. The suspect allegedly purchased two MacBook Pro laptop computers with a value of approximately 00 dollars. The suspect appears to be a black male and was wearing a light colored baseball hat and shirt and darker colored pants. I don’t care what anybody says…e-bay was once fun and profitable. It is now stressful and costly. I’m tired of selling items “as-is/for parts”(with totally accurate descriptions), and then have a few buyers tell me to send them money or else get negative feedback. E-bay can drown in it’s own crap, for all I care.

@DoyleProperties Be careful, as you could get sued for Copyright or TM violation! And with all the money eBay has, I’m sure they could make it pretty tough for you, if they wanted. Why do you need a domain like that if you don’t even have any ideas yet for content? I know you wrote this five months ago, but still….

Saw that, they also removed the last neg warning pop-up interstitial page without warning or any real explanation. There was a very rude & short reason given by Uncle Grief. CS reps are still advising that is a glitch according to posts at technical forum.

Wait a minute! i agree with Sam023.. If i could see some of the Ebay employees that suspend accounts, i will probably shoot someone . You said ” I do have ways of suspending people for good ! ” and i say to you ” Fu…k you ! bitch ! “..my account is suspended FOR EVER just for sending 1 reply to a rude seller ! I was an excellent buyer with over 600 excellent feedback and a quick payer ! Ebay should suspend accounts only for grave important reasons but not for things like this !
Someone do us all a favor and buyout the INEPT ebay organization , put COMPETENT management in so that we can all get on with it!!

All this negativity is well deserved though. I remember
being on hold for nearly an hour and when I finally speak
to a rep to contest a feedback I got the rep accidently
disconnects the phone, well I sit and wait for a few moments because common sense would tell her to just call me back to resume the discussion, but nope, had to
call back and wait ANOTHER hour just to talk to someone,
so I can see why this negativity is there.
I used to work for eBay phone support, and it bugs me seeing all this negativity floating around for my former company. Sure, I agree with some, I sent in suggestions to management all the time, but I also realize a lot of them I could’ve fixed. I do have ways of suspending fraudsters for good.
Of course, we do need members to alert us first. That’s why the fraudster here was trying to convince you NOT to contact eBay, because once you do, they’re toast. 100% feedback extortion!

A rival seller ONE PERSON bid on my stuff negged me and reported me using numerous faked accounts for BS and got me kicked off!
Well guess what, unlike most sellers i kept detailed records, and will take thousands of my customers with me to greener pastures!
If all the booted power sellers do this, we could REALLY sock it to FEE-BAY, in the WALLET where it COUNTS. The “boycotts won’t work, but THIS WILL! Rants & vids comming SOON! Ebay, and PAY-PAL CAN & WILL BURN IN HELL!
i was a powerseller over ebay as well – I knew they would suspend my acount for any/no reason (funny enough on christmas eve)
That is why i only sold what i could turnover within the week. Ebay is like the mafia they take their 20% of sellers cut. I always joke I will burn all my stock just like prohibition days. I was making 5k a week & 1 month of my stock i have 3-5k worth of stock leftover but i certainly have seen people with 100k stock + planning retirement to be left with nothing now.
Ebay is making a fortune on all of the fake Obama autographs; also, Ebay has the most ignorant autograph buyers in the world. With the inauguration just days away the dirt-bag sellers are coming out in force selling Obama forgeries and Ebay is loving it with all of that money to be made on fees. Ebay is a forger’s paradise.

Regarding all this Obama stuff, I posted a vid exposing Inauguration tickets on sale, eb responded in major news articles stating they would disallow the sale of those on ALL of IT’s sites, effectively making them look like “Mr Good Guy”
But just here in the last +/-week, I see that they will still allow payments for those through Paypal, so they still get a cut anyway. And to boot, no press releases about that. Press also silent about it.
Shameful!
It makes us all wonder what is on the minds of Ebay corporate. As of today (01/17/2009) Ebay’s stock is at $13.26 and plunging. It’s unfortunate that we don’t have access to certain statistics, but it makes you wonder if Ebay makes the majority of their profits from the sales of legitimate items or fraudulent items (fake autographs, etc). The number of Obama forged autographs is increasing every day with no end in sight.
